Re: Competition - Petrixic
Since we have the protein stealing cell membrane and the spikes, I think we should use the spikes to stick to one of the developing multicellular organisms and absorb food from it directly as a parasite. I'll change my vote if my new team disagrees or if this is too large a change.

I did have a similar plan of that, but instead using one large spike that act like a proboscis to stab into prey "if multicellular work". But your vote is more better of a idea for a parasitic like organism anyways. So yeah seen like a good vote to me.leestriter wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:28 pmSince we have the protein stealing cell membrane and the spikes, I think we should use the spikes to stick to one of the developing multicellular organisms and absorb food from it directly as a parasite. Re: Competition - Petrixic
I would rather not go completely parasitic and would prefer focusing on being multicellular at the momentBurger Cat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:44 pmI did have a similar plan of that, but instead using one large spike that act like a proboscis to stab into prey "if multicellular work". I do have to agree with your point there, due to Multicellular is my main target as well.Alexcat989 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:58 pmI would rather not go completely parasitic and would prefer focusing on being multicellular at the momentBurger Cat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:44 pmI did have a similar plan of that, but instead using one large spike that act like a proboscis to stab into prey "if multicellular work". Neither of you are on the same team (and you never have been).GabrielGG wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:48 pmOur creature looks like a cuccumber with an anus.Sassy Cassie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:45 amDevelop cells that can contract and expand,

It's fine I can change my vote. Find at each end of the tube.Alpha wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:03 pmThats the thing, I just don't know how I could incorporate both designs into one. If someone can offer a valid example/explanation as to why its plausible then I'm all ears, but otherwise they can't do it.Natural_20 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 10:25 pmBut what if they roll max on bothAlpha wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 8:27 pm
I strongly reccomend that one of you changes your vote, as these two forms of locomotion require entirely different body plans and aren't really compatible. If I may, evolving some sort of fins in order to more efficiently swim as well as stabilise the body would benefit either of the two votes you have suggested.?

You're on Team Prometheus with Tiberius and myself. I'm trying to fix our non-adaptive immune system so that the viruses won't just evolve around our defenses and annihilate us. We also need a proper stomach, as cytophagy just isn't cutting it for something this big and active.
