-Develop jet propulsion taking water in through our shell pores and expeling it out of....Somewhere? Maybe out of other shell pores.

I strongly reccomend that one of you changes your vote, as these two forms of locomotion require entirely different body plans and aren't really compatible. Thats the thing, I just don't know how I could incorporate both designs into one.
