Competition - Petrixic

This is a new competition I have made as I have finished school and have a lot of time on my hands.

Teams:
There will be three teams, each with three people on them. If a member of a team does not vote without prior warning for two consecutive turns, then their spot will be vacated and filled by another individual, decided by the remaining team members. Team names can be whatever you want.

Voting Rules:
Votes will be given a score of 1 - 100 based on this random number generator.
If supporting another team members vote, the result obtained by the generator will be modified by 1.5, or 50% more than the original. It will be 2 times as much if both other members support the vote.
1 - 20 is the reverse of what was intended.
21 - 40 is no change.
41 - 60 is slight change towards what was intended.
61 - 80 is evolving the desired trait.
81 - 100 is becoming specialised and extremely good at whatever is being evovled.

Vote trading is allowed, however it will be modified by 0.75, making it more "risky" to do this than to vote normally. You can have one vote trade per other team, and cannot support vote trades.
Once gene transfer adaptions are evolved, you also unlock one extra vote, however this also cannot be supported/used to support (however it is unmodified).

Votes have to be mostly realistic or at least plausible. You must be able to provide a valid reason as to why something should be evolved if asked.
They also have to follow a linear progression, aka you can't just vote for "wings" as its too far of an evolutionary step, rather youd have to vote for climbing of trees/other structures, then methods of gliding, and then finally powered flight.
Also votes have to be specific and not vague, for example you cant just vote for "a better heart", you have to explain exactly what it is you want to be changed.

Other notes:
One rule that I am implementing is no photosynthesis - honestly, I find writing about plants more tedious than animals, as well as finding plant-animals not very plausible. If this rule upsets you, then don't play this game. I will not argue about this. Also, I think if all the teams are animals (or at least not plants), it will lead to more interesting dynamics between the various organisms and is less predictable.
However I will implement a small description of the plant life that is common on the planet, and any notable adaptions they may have evolved (this will most likely follow a similar progression as Earth's, although some minor variation may be thrown in).

Also, no societies or civilisations should be evolved. The most I will accept is limited tool use, however no fire or agriculture or anything further than that. It does not make sense with the time scale that will be used. However if we ever end up getting to the point where creatures are intelligent, then as long as everyone mutually agrees to it, then we can turn this into a civilisation game, however major rule modifications would have to be produced.

I will stagger the time scale, so much more time will pass at the beginning of the game compared to when life is more complex.
I will also do an event every 4 turns, the severity of which will be determined by the random number generator. I will warn you the turn before of the events nature, however I will give you the chance to sacrifice one of your teams votes (not a sex vote or a vote trade) to reduce the severity by 50%. This stacks, so if all three teams cooperate and contribute one vote then it will be reduced by 150%, pretty much making sure it wont be bad. otherwise you can try take the risk and see if you can "get ahead" of the other teams.

Each team will have a conservation status given to them each turn. This will reflect the success of each organism.
Extinct (EX) – No known individuals remaining.
Critically endangered (CR) – Extremely high risk of extinction in the near future.
Endangered (EN) – High risk of extinction.
Vulnerable (VU) – Bad risk of endangerment in the future.
Near threatened (NT) – Likely to become endangered in the near future.
Least concern (LC) – Lowest risk. Does not qualify for a higher risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
Species can only move up or down 1 level each turn, or 3 after a bad event. Species can go extinct if they are located in both the Critically Endangered or Endangered categories, in which the team will revert to another species similar in ancestry to their current species, but much more heavily adapted to whatever killed the original. Other changes may also occur to make this a last-resort tactic (aka the species you inherit will be much different than your other one, so you don't just get a free adaption).

Lets crack on!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TURN 0
Years passed since evolution of Eukaryotic life: 0

PLANET DESCRIPTION: In a solar system similar to our own, there is a small planet approximately 80% the size of Earth, known as Petrixic. Aside from this it is practically identical in terms of composition, and is located within the goldilocks zone, not too hot, and not too cold, just right for life! It has a 20 hour day/night cycle, and takes approximately 400 of its days to orbit its sun. It has one tidally locked moon which is the same proportion as Earth's moon in terms of its size relative to Petrixic. Currently this planet is devoid of any form of complex organisms, however small prokaryotic and recently a eukaryotic cell have evolved and spread across the oceans.

PLANT LIFE: None other than primitive cyanobacteria.

SPECIES FOR TEAM “ORIGIN” (Members = Alpha):
Team Votes: Alpha: Mitochondria and complex organelles: base 80 = 80.
Vote Exchanges: No other teams
Sex Vote: These poor little buggers are asexual

Origin Bacteria (Vitus novae)
A new form of cell has formed, after the absorbtion of a small prokaryotic cell that became specialised in aerobic energy production. Because of its increased energy output, it began to produce complex organelles in order to more effectively synthesise proteins and efficiently produce energy.

Appearance:
Small eukaryotic cells, approximately 100 µm in diameter.
Notable Features:
Reproduces asexually
Diet:
Chemotroph: Absorbs various mineral from the surrounding water to provide energy and grow.
Habitat:
The rocky substrate and currents of the mineral-rich oceans of Petrixic.
Conservation Status:
LC

EVENT: Incoming on Turn 4, biological in nature.

TURNS:
Turn 1
Turn 2
Turn 3
Turn 4
Turn 5
Turn 6
Turn 7

Forming Team Friendo

Develop Flagellas, allowing us to move independently, however slow it may be.

I suppose, although you'll have to vote and join a team before the turn starts.

All the team spots are now taken, so people will have to join existing teams.

Join team Friendo.

A calcium shell made from calcium (or other minerals) extracted from the water to prevent predation - this vote is likely to change

Although question Alpha, if there are no producers, where will the food come from for the rest? Or will there be NPC producers?

OKay shit, I caannot play this game because I wanted at least the option to be a plant, yeah thats right I no longer find plants as boring as I used to.

Have fun

More importantly if we cannot reach civilization, then how can the game have a proper ending aside from ''and then everyone died''. ;/

Iggnore my previous message, I wish to join as the first member of team: EndItAll.

First adaptation vote: develop toxic secretions for hunting.
