A simulation I made today

Today, I made a simulation that has 2 islands, east and west. The temprature gets hotter towards the north, and colder towards the south. The western island has herbivores that seem to prefer living in the cooler areas, and carnivores that somehow evolved from herbivores, and live around the equator. The eastern island just has omnivores. Quite early into the simulation, a large chain of extinction events led the planet's dominant species to extinction, along with most of the planet's life, leaving only 2 major species alive, which then became the dominant species on each island.

QUICK UPDATE: The western population has dropped significantly. I'll start the mass extinction soon.

*NOTE: I'm gonna start referring to the populations with their clade/family names.
During the mass extinction, the Camares "invaded" the western island, and nearly drove the Leuceuras to extinction. The Camares also moved to the small, cold southern island. The Camares and Leuceuras have swapped places.
