0.8.0 does not boot up properly. At all.

Whenever I try to run the executable file, this happens, and the file is removed from the folder.

This appears to be something to do with user/program permissions when running from that location. Try moving the game to a different location (C:\ is where I generally recommend running it from).

I brought this issue up in another thread, tried moving the install path to C:\ and it worked for about a day before reverting back to the behavior described by Sunconure11.

I tried installing to the C Drive as well, but, it did not work. Is there a specific folder it needs to be in?

Also, can my C Drive being an SSD cause this?

As of the hotfix, this isn't happening to me at least.
