I'm guessing it's from the middle leg set.
I've had that happen twice as well: attacks in the high 400's because of the second arms that are held up in the air and drop down again.
One of those looked similar to a cross between a scorpion (because of the long tail, and the body low to the ground) and this Dead Space monster:
