Look at the creature in the middle of the screen that stands out, that's a herbivore. The white creatures that are around it are hunting it (as you can see because they are facing toward it and if there was a video instead of a screenshot they would be chasing it (I know I use the word "it" too much)).
Note that the neck of the herbivore isn't drawn on the screenshot but if you would zoom in during the game you would see it does have a neck. The same applies to the hunting action bubble.

That is some amazing emergent behavior!
Anyway there is a tool for moving the creatures so if you wanted to move the creature in the spirit from getting ripped apart horribly by carnivores, I suppose you could.
