Qu, dont be ashamed of your stuttering and umming and whatnot, just take a few weeks to practice and pretend you will lose your house if you fail ;)

Shoot, um that might have been bad advice, disregard.

Interesting talk. While the info was nothing new to those of us that follow the blog, it was an interesting glimpse into the man behind it.

You do stutter a bit, but you kept things moving and got your points across, so it wasn't bad.

I'm going to give it a listen, I'm a few minutes in by now.

For your presentation and nervousness: in my experience, this is something that improves over time. You'll get better at it with practice. I'm still nervous every time, especially right before starting, but that tends to fade once I've started.
Another thing that is relevant for you is a thought that helps me a lot as well. You are actually the world's leading expert at this topic. No one can do a better job at this than you, since you know the most about it in the world. The only thing you need to do is communicate it to the audience. :)

Also, practice, practice, practice. At least five times or so. Each time you practice, you store memories of how to phrase things, you'll rephrase to make sentence structures less awkward etc. I hate practice myself, even if I'm alone in a room. But it really helps.

If I have comments on the content of your presentation, where can I put them, Quasar? Just in this thread, or somewhere else?

Without answer I guess you can post here, worst case we can move the content later.
At this point, we shouldn't be surprised by anything nature does. She's like a meth addict whose drug-fueled rampages unfold in slow motion and span millions of years.
