Re: New Joke Thread

This isn't a joke, but I thought that this poem has a lot of things to think about. :| The Cold Within Six humans trapped by happenstance In bleak and bitter cold. Each one possessed a stick of wood Or so the story’s told. Their dying fire in need of logs The first man held his back. For on the face...

Re: Future Multiplayer

By connecting worlds, it would attach the edge of your screen to the edge of another screen. Each player could change the conditions of their world. Species from both worlds could travel across the border. With each player, you would expand the world, without putting extra strain on your computer. Y...

Re: Itzan- 15 years

I noticed on an earlier page that there was a list of all the island clusters in the game. I'm going to call my island cluster Con, for those who want to send creatures to my island cluster.

I read in an earlier blog post that Qu plans for there to be an option to connect your world to another player's world. This is a far off feature, which is why I called it "...

Re: Itzan- 15 years

For turn 2: During the night, Tok creates a small hill next to one of the bigger Concon villages. He then invades the "dreams" of the leader of that village, and tells him to go to the hill. At the top of the hill is a small shrine, which is where I will spend my time watching the island. Those who ...

Future Multiplayer

Note, this suggestion depends on the fact that a system has been created that connects players to each other's world. This suggestion is about how to handle someone quitting. When somebody quits, the computer that is trying to quit could start deciding how many creatures move to a different landmass...

Re: Itzan

If you need a source of helium, perhaps you could have some flora that have "helium fixation" in their root structures, mush like nitrogen fixing bacteria. These plants could release excess helium into the air. The problem with helium is it's extremely low mass, and thus it would leave the island r...
