Team Octo-Tank:

Vote: Develop a sharp drill-shaped "flesh" tooth similar to an egg tooth to make it more easier to tunnel out from their hosts as to increase the survival of the Virim Youngs as most of their deaths seem to died while within the corpse of the Virim victims.

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team Octotank: Vote: Evolve Ganoid like scales onto the outer skin of the slime scavengers to develop better protection against the eels and parasites trying to pierce the scavengers skin. The scales in the long run can help us with the upcoming parts of land as well. Sex Vote: Sex vote that BakedTo...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team Octotank:

Vote: Supporting the vote that BakedToast suggested would allow us to get omnivory with the plant digestion.

I do support the sex vote as well to allow us to possibly take a niche that isn't hold by any organisms yet and allow us for one step for land completed.

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team Octotank I think we’ll be better off not doing dietary trimorphism. That being said, since one of our normal votes is going into carnivorous diet, I am going to vote for a herbivorous diet, so that we have a higher chance of omnivory. Vote: Develop secondary digestive system that can specifica...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

but I do have a interesting idea of gender trimorphism based on diet LOVE THIS! Females would need a more consistent food source in order to produce eggs, and thus herbivory makes a lot of sense. Females may tend to be slightly larger and a bit more sluggish. Males would be a bit smaller, but faste...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team Octotank. Discussion We need a better food source. Drifting debris might become more scarce as the Slime mats block out the sun, killing more and more life on the ocean floor. By extension, they could end up extincting us. Either we branch into herbivory like the other team, or we become a pre...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team OctoTank: Vote: Develops an pair of ommatophores of the Eye-Tube to see overall better against the new predators of the Jawed Eel and to see around our surroundings. Sex vote: I do like the idea of Ocmale Egg Projectiles system idea against the Jawed Eels and can work quite well, so I'm going t...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

Team Octotank: Vote: Develop an adaptive immune system based on bacteriophages within the Tube body. For our sex vote I do suggest on getting more senses or finding more efficient food sources with adaptions toward that possible goal. But I'm willing to support anything with better sex vote if the t...

Re: Definitely Not Earth’s Twin Two

On second thought, I think I'll wait until we get to a more advanced stage. I like these games, but such protoplasmic life evolution is less my cup of tea. I'll keep an eye on this though, for sure! Hey, welcome back :D. Good to hear from you again. Thanks! I'll take that as an unofficial invitatio...
