I also want to note, when my game crashes, the game doesn't stop running in the background it seems, and I have to close it with task manager. Or at least I suspect that, as it blocks me from reopening the game with it saying the game is running when I try before task managering it up

So, I loaded up a world, where I set it to crater but otherwise didn't edit things, and predator and prey. Game still treated as running when exited (12.0)

When I close the game, the game is still detected as running by steam, and it doesn't let me open it again. I've bypassed this by closing the steam process when I want to restart it.

I voted new mechanics, but I also really want modding too. It was a very tough choice.

It's kinda like, as a player it's almost the same choice, just which outlet will the new mechanics come from. I also want to mod the game at some point, if I can figure out the program used for it.

Something that's been iffy about the game lately for me, is the grazing vs trees debacle. creatures tend to just sorta choose randomly based on a unified AI probability, it seems to me.
