I saw an interesting progression in an extinct line of fossils so I animated it.

I'm not sure, but I think it might need to be compiled, and I don't know enough to be useful for that.

After unzipping Species ALRE 0.6.0, open the folder you unzipped to and double-click on species.exe.

Okay, thanks for the info. The reason I ask is that when testing these settings I set the tree density to 10 (default is 5), but I wanted to know whether it was actually doubling the amount of food. Can anyone say from experience what effects increased tree density has in the simulation? Does it mean there is more food, or make the biome more stable? Can the creatures currently eat full sized trees?

It may help if you paste the text from the error message in a post here. Someone may be able to tell you what's wrong then.

Is that with default settings? I've never seen that.
